Global Youth and Sustainable Development Goals

The Organization of Ibero-American Youth asked us to create a piece that could communicate in social media the urgent need to include in 2015 the priorities of global youth in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

In 2000, world countries agreed in the United Nations to set a series of Millennium Development Goals that should be achieved by 2015. Surprisingly, these goals did not consider specific policies to tackle the problems of global youth, that represent 25% of the world’s population.

We summarized in an original video the complex process of definition and negotiation of SDG’s. The video was presented in the Ibero-American Summit of Presidents in December 2014.
